This is the place that allows you to unlock the power of my website:  My web-guru has designed a unique tool that should serve fellow tax professionals (and clients) well.

I am certainly the most frequent user of my website.  While the site obviously serves to disseminate information to clients, prospects and web-surfers, it was designed primarily to make me a more efficient practitioner by organizing documents and links in such a manner that information is always at hand.  Items are added on a near-daily basis, shuffled around and re-posted whenever I desire.  Yes, my web-guy is incredibly accommodating.  My requests – no matter how mundane or extraordinary – are met with unflappable patience and a tremendous willingness to implement them.

And so it was when I was poking around the pages of this site that have mushroomed to 41 pages and more than 500 links, that I found myself surprised as I came across links and files that I had totally forgotten about; useful stuff but overlooked and unintentionally ignored.  When I mentioned this to my web designer and in an offhand sort of way suggested that it would be nice if I could consolidate favorite links and most frequently needed information in a special place, accessible only to me, the idea of the Private page was born.

Soon my birthday rolled around and I received an e-mail from my web-guy asking me to log into my website. To my utter delight, I found that I not only was given one Private page but five!  Five pages to which I could transfer contents scattered throughout my website, consolidate and re-organize in a way that most benefitted me as a practitioner without disrupting the content of my site.  The public would still have access to everything as before but I could cherry-pick and design five personalized pages simply by clicking on links and “moving” them.  I’m still experimenting but I have to tell you, it’s FUN!

You should try it.  All you have to do is register; pick a Login ID and a password.  I promise a whole new world will open up to you!  And as a bonus, you will receive e-mail notifications keeping you abreast of tax code changes as well as updates and continued improvements to my website.  It’s worth it just to see what my web-guru dreams up next.
